WONDERLACK, BEAUTY NAILS' SEMI-PERMANENT VARNISH

 

As for many years, varnishes have never been so prominent. The color in this fall is blue, more thirsty. Fortunately, we are not obliged to follow the trends and in terms of varnish, we do according to our desires!

 

The varnish, placed on the nails of the hands is undoubtedly beautiful, sometimes fun, feminine, glamorous and classy, but it never lasts more than 5 days without chipping or cracking. By dint of touch-ups, the varnish tends to leave very quickly in peanuts and this, both on the holding of the varnish and on the weakening nail. It is not only because I tested it but having already tried semi-permanent once on the toes in an institute, I find that the Wonderlack permanent UV varnish from Beauty Nails , is the most more successful and more secure for the nail. It must be admitted that the French brand has been a specialist in the beauty of nails and hands with professionals and individuals in France and abroad for 25 years.

 

What is Wonderlack?

It applies like a classic nail polish except that it dries with the UV lamp and lasts much longer, between 15 days to 3 weeks. Not content with offering us a subtle palette of 30 polishes   as chic as they are fashionable (others are to be expected), Beauty Nails , allows us, as individuals, to equip ourselves in order to apply semi-polish like a pro permanent. This technique does not require any special training . Just like a professional manicure, it is imperative to have: a UV lamp (prices range from 29.99 € to 129 € HT), a Wonderlack Top Coat Base (15.90 € HT) and a Finishing Liquid (6.99 € HT to € 79 HT -for 5 liters- ), of a Wonderlack UV Gelof color at 15.90 € HT (or the Wonderlack varnish of your choice), a Cuticle Regrowth  (from 9.80 € HT to 11.80 € HT ) , a stick and a Solution to Dissolve (or a solvent with acetone). This equipment is available on Beauty Nails .

 

To have a successful pose, a manicure is essential. It will consist in pushing back the cuticles or even cutting them, polishing and smoothing the surface of the nail with the soft Perfect Finisher file and filing the nails in a square or rounded manner. Then apply and always in a thin layer, the Base Top Coat Wonderlack followed by a Wonderlack colored UV Gel (twice). You should not fail to catalyze under the UV lamp and apply a last coat of Top Coat. Easy, right?

 

I was fortunate to benefit from a manicure performed by Eva with good care at the new Parisian showroom of Beauty Nails located at 100 rue Réaumur, in the 2nd arrondissement. The result is truly remarkable and so chic . I love. Already, just after having deposited a thin layer of Base Top Coat Wonderlack , the nails are superbly smooth (they are reflected), shine intensely then with the application of the pretty plum red ( Madison) that I have chosen, the nail is magnified and magnificent. The color is intense and bright.

 

Thanks to the UV lamp, drying is instantaneous. Half a second after the completion of Wonderlack , you can immediately go about your business without any worries, put on gloves, rummage in your bag, open a door, drive, shake a hand ... without having to wait 15 to 20 minutes that the varnish does not dry, as we usually do with a conventional varnish. It is very surprising, in the positive sense of the term but above all, practical. In addition, there is no smell of chemical varnish that emanates.

 

 

Dress and maintenance?

At D + 5, no scratches, scratches, snags, niets ,nada , nothing , nothing to report and yet, at times, I am not the most cautious. One has the impression that the surface of the nail does not fear anything. Eva advised me to apply a cuticle oil every day , file the nails at the first regrowth, wear gloves to do certain household tasks (like washing up) and warned me that I should do a little retouching.

 

For who ?

For all and all shapes and lengths of nails. The shortest nails will be highlighted especially that this year , they are more than ever in the spotlight. Better to avoid this technique on bitten or too fragile nails.

 

 

And what about the nail?

Contrary to the installation of false nails which requires among other things to file the top of the nail even if it has to be squared because in the end, it is more thinned, fragile, brittle and facilitates the absorption of more or less toxic beauty products (glue or resin), with Wonderlack the nail is not as traumatized. If you have the misfortune to remove the false nails yourself, you will have to use a lot of patience to recover the nails while with Wonderlack , we remove the varnish with a solvent with acetone . It would seem that the care taken and, the Wonderlack varnishesapplied would not damage the nail. However, I think that you should not abuse good things and let the nail rest a few days before a next session. For the moment, I am only 5 days away from Wonderlack , I am not ready to remove my varnish, still as flamboyant and lacquered . After 3 weeks, I will of course deliver my prints.

 

Wonderlack's strengths?

The combinations that can be made are incredible such as applying the Base Top Coat Wonderlack alone , putting on top of a classic varnish or removing it (using a solvent without acetone) after 48 hours to put another without the Top Coatdon't go away. Insofar as no training is required, you can purchase the equipment, thus skipping over a nail benefit accruing as institutes from 60 € to 80 € . All inclusive (manicure + Wonderlack pose ), it takes about 45 minutes and you never come back to it. It’s pretty quick.

 

Weaknesses of Wonderlack?

The cost will you tell me? However, the service at an esthetician or a manicure is not so excessive because, one benefits from several weeks of peace and one can remove at home the varnish Wonderlack  without being obliged to return to the institute. If you decide to equip yourself, there will necessarily be a starting cost but, this will be quickly pays for itself after 3 or 4 uses.

 

FINAL VERDICT .

After a quarter century of existence and requirement, the has quality beauty products, treatments and accessories Beauty Nails is well established. I will have ample opportunity to come back to this in future articles. The brand makes its wide range accessible to all. For years I have been in favor of transparent varnishes because, I have always hated varnishes that flake off in less than 48 hours and that have to be constantly re- boosted . But I found the concept and the effects of Wonderlack so great that I got equipped! I will also try the experiment on my toes. Even if our toes will be locked in boots, pumps or ballerinas for the next 6 months, they also have the right to be beautiful and dolled up with varnish!
