The workshop, a game of sensory discoveries.

It's in a good-natured atmosphere, around a snack, tabs and a set of olfactory cards that we smelled, tested, discovered pure and natural smells of Orange Blossom (childhood memories go back on the nose), Vanilla(so perfect, so beautiful, so greedy) of Cedar and Wild Herbs (I thought I was in a forest), the Red Fruits (sweet smell of candy SWEET ), of Lavender (it is the call of Provence ) ... I had the impression of being transported to each aspiration in another universe, a place or an era. It clearly came out that I had more acquaintance with the family of Fruity, Floral and Spicy.

I wanted a suave, fresh and delicious fragrance. After several long minutes of reflection, I opted for the sweet Vanilla (it was a certainty) and the Iristo give my eau de toilette a feminine, soft and elegant note.  As for the assembly, Emmanuel Frossard advised me to do some tests beforehand by mixing the fragrances on the back of the hand, a handkerchief and in the bottle. This is how I managed to find my ideal fragrance (in barely ten minutes) so coveted and to modulate it according to my desires.

Inside the elegant, somewhat old fashioned box, there are two perfume spray bottles at the ends and a spray bottle in the center.empty (having taken the photo just after the realization of my perfume this one is thus full) as well as a file which gives us brief but useful indications to realize its perfume.

My assembly.

It was simple! I first poured into the empty bottle about two thirds of Iris for a third of Vanilla . During this stage, I took care not to let the liquid of the perfumes escape because, there is no funnel allowing to control the flows, it is the impractical aspect of the operation . This association was undoubtedly a great success. Holding Candora Eau de Toilette

is greater than that of conventional water. At the height of the roof, the sweet note that I wanted voluntarily present and not omnipresent does not dissipate over the hours. You see, you don't have to be an apprentice chemist to get there like a real nose (or almost)!

10 days ago, I had the opportunity to participate with other bloggers, in a Candora Paris perfume workshop , led by one of its founders Emmanuel Frossard . It is in the cozy , discreet and elegant setting of La ConserverieIn Paris, we attended, under the same conditions as a meeting with friends, the presentation of the brand and its innovative concept.

 

The creators of Candora Paris cosmetics and beauty products , Béatrice Delorme and Emmanuel Frossard have a combined 50 years of experience in  the luxury sector. The two brothers and sisters had the brilliant idea of proposing to individuals to make their own eau de toilette by assembling soliflores (not raw materials for which the process is much more complex), that is to say built around a single flower, a single fragrance. The blends are simple and compatible, each composition being single-scent. You are free to mix them or not. Candora offers the possibility of personalizing its perfume according to our tastes, desires and moods. To do this, the brand uses two perfumers Isabelle Ferrand and Melanie Leroux , who developed a collection of 17 fragrances from five major families of perfumery: the bloom, the Woodlands, the Spicy, the costs and Fruity .  The raw materials used are of very high quality , most often natural with essences developed in the best Grasse laboratories *. Candora is high-end at an affordable price. Thanks to all these combinations of perfumes, we have fun as well as others, women and men (fragrances are dedicated to them).

 

In an effort to limit the carbon footprint and, because French expertise is recognized throughout the world, the content (as we have seen above) like the container of Candora perfumes are stamped with the seal  made in France. Only the pump and the plug come from England and Italy. The slender, refined and distinguished bottles come from the Bresle valley, the cradle of the national glassworks *. A detail that is very important, the bottles are unscrewable to facilitate assembly and reuse as desired. For information, the brand owes its name to a romantic singer of the early XX th century named Candora . Endowed with multiple talents, Candora also created makeup powders and lipstick collections for a major cosmetics brand *.

 

I am not a perfume specialist but a hedonist and limit a béociennein this discipline which I find, requires a specific vocabulary and a particular almost poetic approach to be able to speak of it in the most beautiful of ways. In any case, I will do my best to describe the scents that were released during the Candora workshop ...

 

Emmanuel Frossard was in charge of the workshop. She is an expert in perfumery, who therefore masters her subject perfectly.

SUMMER SUN ARE YOU THERE

 

As a partner of the certified organic beauty products cosmetics brand So'Bio Etic , I received Bronzing Powder Bronzing Sun of Summer n ° 1 , one of the latest makeup novelties of the brand.

The term "Bronzante" called out to me and, despite a mottled color tending to gold, I quickly concluded that this powder was not made for my dark complexion. As usual, at first, my hand was a little too heavy, suddenly, I had two shades and then the following days, I went there with more lightness, taking care to remove the excess powder (by blowing on the brush). Yet discreet, the Bronzing Complexion powder brightens my face with its delicately scintillating and satiny reflections. It also hides small spots while reducing dark circles. And as in summer, I put on very little makeup, I also apply Bronzing Powder on the eyelids. My complexion is more radiant and very natural. Finally, the texture of this powder is infinitely soft.
