The secret to supple, soft and radiant skin lies in  HYDRATION . As winter approaches, we all find that in contact with hard water, pollution, wind and cold, our skin does not take long to pull, form cracks, plaques and become rough, s 'he is not receiving adequate care. Here are three moisturizing and effective treatments (body, face and hands) that have proven their worth on my skin for several days and weeks.

Remember here , last August, I finally decided to buy beauty products Body Cream from the American brand Kiehl’s . I unsheathed it when the rainy weather arrived and the first cold weather arrived. This treatment is excellent! Its whipped and tender texture is wonderful. Crème de Corps penetrates with disconcerting ease without leaving a greasy film. No need to put tons. I'm addicted to this island scent. My skin is perfectly nourished, hydrated, delicious, as soft as it is soft. Formulated with beta - carotene , shea butter , squalane and vitamin E , this body cream contains no parabens, glycols or silicones.  I highly recommend it for dry to very dry and damaged skin. The onlycatch  ? Its high price. Cream Body is certainly risen from 42 € to 36 € for a 226g pot exactly, but it remains a substantial budget. At the same time, if you want to revive your skin (a treatment of one or two jars per year should suffice), Crème de Corps does its job excellently. The other problem is the scheduled end of the pot. Fortunately, it doesn't take much!   

  

In mid-October, my cheeks were starting to peel and dry out. I had to quickly change my day cream. Having received test Day Cream Multi-Action to nourishing bio-active hydra of The Golden Elixir , the East beauty products cosmetics range (certified by Ecocert and labeled Cosmebio), I said to myself banco! The assets have been enriched with a greater concentration of Cold Cream (which consists of Beeswax , Sweet Almond oil , Avène thermal spring water ,Blanc de Baleine ) and Sucralfate . The texture has been modernized. I didn't know the old version but the new one is 100% effective. The fragrance, always so delicate at Avène, is refreshing. With a fine texture, the cream penetrates easily  and is quickly absorbed for optimal comfort (without a greasy film). My hands are softer, hydrated, nourished and non-sticky. Over time, the small cracks that appeared between my fingers (due to my lack of diligence in applying appropriate care) gradually start to go away after a few days. Another advantage is that the 50ml tube format has been visibly designed so that the Cold Cream follows us everywhere.

The workshop, a game of sensory discoveries.

It's in a good-natured atmosphere, around a snack, tabs and a set of olfactory cards that we smelled, tested, discovered pure and natural smells of Orange Blossom (childhood memories go back on the nose), Vanilla(so perfect, so beautiful, so greedy) of Cedar and Wild Herbs (I thought I was in a forest), the Red Fruits (sweet smell of candy SWEET ), of Lavender (it is the call of Provence ) ... I had the impression of being transported to each aspiration in another universe, a place or an era. It clearly came out that I had more acquaintance with the family of Fruity, Floral and Spicy.

I wanted a suave, fresh and delicious fragrance. After several long minutes of reflection, I opted for the sweet Vanilla (it was a certainty) and the Iristo give my eau de toilette a feminine, soft and elegant note.  As for the assembly, Emmanuel Frossard advised me to do some tests beforehand by mixing the fragrances on the back of the hand, a handkerchief and in the bottle. This is how I managed to find my ideal fragrance (in barely ten minutes) so coveted and to modulate it according to my desires.

Inside the elegant, somewhat old fashioned box, there are two perfume spray bottles at the ends and a spray bottle in the center.empty (having taken the photo just after the realization of my perfume this one is thus full) as well as a file which gives us brief but useful indications to realize its perfume.

My assembly.

It was simple! I first poured into the empty bottle about two thirds of Iris for a third of Vanilla . During this stage, I took care not to let the liquid of the perfumes escape because, there is no funnel allowing to control the flows, it is the impractical aspect of the operation . This association was undoubtedly a great success. Holding Candora Eau de Toilette

is greater than that of conventional water. At the height of the roof, the sweet note that I wanted voluntarily present and not omnipresent does not dissipate over the hours. You see, you don't have to be an apprentice chemist to get there like a real nose (or almost)!

10 days ago, I had the opportunity to participate with other bloggers, in a Candora Paris perfume workshop , led by one of its founders Emmanuel Frossard . It is in the cozy , discreet and elegant setting of La ConserverieIn Paris, we attended, under the same conditions as a meeting with friends, the presentation of the brand and its innovative concept.

 

The creators of Candora Paris cosmetics and beauty products , Béatrice Delorme and Emmanuel Frossard have a combined 50 years of experience in  the luxury sector. The two brothers and sisters had the brilliant idea of proposing to individuals to make their own eau de toilette by assembling soliflores (not raw materials for which the process is much more complex), that is to say built around a single flower, a single fragrance. The blends are simple and compatible, each composition being single-scent. You are free to mix them or not. Candora offers the possibility of personalizing its perfume according to our tastes, desires and moods. To do this, the brand uses two perfumers Isabelle Ferrand and Melanie Leroux , who developed a collection of 17 fragrances from five major families of perfumery: the bloom, the Woodlands, the Spicy, the costs and Fruity .  The raw materials used are of very high quality , most often natural with essences developed in the best Grasse laboratories *. Candora is high-end at an affordable price. Thanks to all these combinations of perfumes, we have fun as well as others, women and men (fragrances are dedicated to them).

 

In an effort to limit the carbon footprint and, because French expertise is recognized throughout the world, the content (as we have seen above) like the container of Candora perfumes are stamped with the seal  made in France. Only the pump and the plug come from England and Italy. The slender, refined and distinguished bottles come from the Bresle valley, the cradle of the national glassworks *. A detail that is very important, the bottles are unscrewable to facilitate assembly and reuse as desired. For information, the brand owes its name to a romantic singer of the early XX th century named Candora . Endowed with multiple talents, Candora also created makeup powders and lipstick collections for a major cosmetics brand *.

 

I am not a perfume specialist but a hedonist and limit a béociennein this discipline which I find, requires a specific vocabulary and a particular almost poetic approach to be able to speak of it in the most beautiful of ways. In any case, I will do my best to describe the scents that were released during the Candora workshop ...

 

Emmanuel Frossard was in charge of the workshop. She is an expert in perfumery, who therefore masters her subject perfectly.

SUMMER SUN ARE YOU THERE

 

As a partner of the certified organic beauty products cosmetics brand So'Bio Etic , I received Bronzing Powder Bronzing Sun of Summer n ° 1 , one of the latest makeup novelties of the brand.

The term "Bronzante" called out to me and, despite a mottled color tending to gold, I quickly concluded that this powder was not made for my dark complexion. Yet discreet, the Bronzing Complexion powder brightens my face with its delicately scintillating and satiny reflections. It also hides small spots while reducing dark circles. And as in summer, I put on very little makeup, I also apply Bronzing Powder on the eyelids. My complexion is more radiant and very natural. Finally, the texture of this powder is infinitely soft.

I ADOPTED L'ELIXIR D'OR PARIS BODY EMULSION

Some of us have dry or very dry skin, even in summer. Rather than turning to skincare with a rich texture and composition, I found a solution that will satisfy as many people as possible with L'Elixir d'Or Paris .

When I applied it for the first time, I remember saying to myself "wow, the hydrating power of this so aerial care is exceptional and, the softness which results from it is simply bluffing ". I use it essentially after my weekly exfoliation. I am indeed certain that my epidermis absorbs all the aforementioned benefits As a bonus, I would eat myself!

 

FINAL VERDICT .

I can only recommend to everyone and in particular, to the most dried out and damaged skin, this jewel of care from the East. In addition, Emulsion Corps can be used indifferently in winter (for all) as in summer (to be reserved for the driest skin).

ELBOWS, KNEES AND FEET ON TOP WITH PALMER'S

 

As you may have noticed, I am a fairly regular user of Palmer’s body care beauty products formulated with  Cocoa Butter . Some will say that the perfume does not vary, which would be a source of a certain weariness. Not false, only, the smells are still as tasty and, the treatments are nonetheless very effective. Palmer’s has, it seems to me, a taste for novelty (beauty products, formulations and packaging) and that's good ... 

It is with deep sadness that my foot care (from the Burt's Bees , Phyt's  and  Beauty Nails brands) have ended. So I was looking for a new foot cream but at a reasonable price. When I spotted my supermarket Care Butter Elbows, Knees and Feet of Palmer's , I thought banco. A three in one at a low price, I did not ask so much, I take!

T lmost fragrant, rich and concentrated in Cocoa Butter and Vitamin E , this butter is extremely effective ... to my surprise I must say. Creamyand unctuous, it hydrates, nourishes, smoothes, penetrates quickly leaving a silky and satiny appearance with the knobs for all day. It produces exactly the same effects on the elbows and knees, without leaving a greasy film. These parts of the body being particularly dry, I give an A + to this treatment because, it fulfills its functions perfectly. According to the uses, the epidermis softens and becomes less and less dry and rough.

Even better, no need to take large quantities. A few hazelnuts in each area are more than enough.

 

FINAL VERDICT .

A faultless for this treatment. Butter Care Elbows, Knees and Feet of Palmer's is as economical as efficient. And hop, adopted!

HEMA'S LOW PRICES

 

It was in Amsterdam that I got to know the Hema stores . They are essential… A real institution. Established since 1926 in the Netherlands, these stores sell quality everyday products for the whole family (beauty, decoration, children, food, cooking, stationery, bathing etc.) of their own vintage and at unbeatable prices. . I had already had the opportunity to review several beauty products bought there. © Hema.

I find that their beauty products help out ... Conquered by the freshness and the color of their dressings, I had taken a box and, it must be said that, none really held up. In the beauty department, the few products I bought were not particularly transcendent, in particular because of the presence of not very clean ingredients ( PEG and PPG) or too chemical scents. Admittedly, I have not tested everything ... At such low prices, it might be worth it to retry the experience and why not, with the beauty products that have switched to summer time? MY TOP 3 MOISTURIZERS FOR WINTER

This winter (like every season in fact), I tested a number of creams, balms, butters and milks. If I had to remember only three, it would be these ...

 

I was already talking about Palmer's Cocoa Butter! No ... it's not an obsession. Each winter, I am drawn to the body care products in this range. This year, I found this butter even more effective, hydrating and nourishing than the other years. My skin was bright and mega soft. Why ? The combination of gourmet, tasty and maxi nourishing shower gels from the Cottage brand has helped, I think, to multiply the qualities of Palmer’s Butter . And then, I always remain a fan of its melting texture and its smell of cocoa ...

 

In recent months, I have made quite a few drums. I must also say that I bought raw materials at Aroma-Zone . There have been successes like a few failures ... Among other things, I amused myself by concocting many jars of Ô-Délice Chocolaté butters(the recipe here ). I made some variations by adding sweet aromas and a good dose of Gold micasfor a sparkling effect. These colored my preparation but, the glitter effect on my skin is extremely discreet, almost imperceptible. On the other hand, the chocolate flavor is even more exquisite, the hydration is there (when the temperatures fluctuate above 6 °). The skin is nourished, sublimated, hydrated and appetizing ...

 

I promised myself (right there ) that I would no longer buy the not super clean version in terms of the ingredients of Greenland body butters. How weak the flesh! I went back to the store and gave in to the Pamplemousse Gingembre fragrance  . Yep, I had to abdicate because, in addition to being on sale, these butters (based on Cocoa and Shea) that do not look like they are really very effective in softening, hydrating and nourishing (without leaving a greasy film) the skin. As they say: they do their job well! These products work wonderfully to protect and soften the epidermis from winter cold. The citrus scent is delicate with all the same, a small industrial aftertaste.
